Kim Foxx rethinking retail theft policy

Amid growing outrage over-organized retail crime, the Cook County state’s attorney says she’s reconsidering her stance on what constitutes a felony.

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx is taking another look at her office’s policy to not prosecute felony retail theft unless the value of the stolen items is higher than $1,000.
